When you feel like crying, just urinate

No..no this is not weird stuff...but a dialogue from movie "Mumbai Meri Jaan". Once in a time , there comes a movie which changes your perception about life, once in a time , there comes a movie which changes the way you live the life. Mumbai meri jaan is such a wonderfully directed movie , that I was almost crying. The finess of direction comes when you have five great people acting for you on the screen. Parel Rawal, Kay Kay, Irrfan Khan, Madhavan and Soha Ali Khan...well the star cast itself says something about this movie. This is a must watch movie and I am sure you will be moved at the end of this movie. Apart from direction and the reality shown from five different categories of society with poor(Irrfan Khan), lower middle class(Paresh Rawal), Hindu cynical extremist(Kay Kay), higher middle class patriotic software professional(Madhavan), a realistic journalist(Soha Ali Khan), the movie touches every body. In fact Irrfan Khan had silent role, but he outclasses everybody in the movie and set the bar of expectation high. Then , there are no words for Paresh Rawal who has grown into a veteran. And well , well .. director Nishikant Kamat , his first hindi movie , and he has proved his abilities , but I know his first marathi movie which was relased in 2005 "Dombivli Fast" which got lot of recognition. This man has seen mumbai more closely than anybody I guess. You can read about Dombivli fast here.

I will definitely watch it. What puzzles me is that I've never heard about it but since it stars Soha Ali Khan it must be a very recent one and yet its not been a month since I left India.

Me too. I tried to watch Rock On today, but the projector at the theater broke down. Hopefully will watch both these movies soon.
